Corona Arch Trail

Utah

One of the prettiest arches in Utah - the one that graces the cover of Go Outside and Come Back Better - isn't in Arches National Park, but it's close. And anyone who is capable of hiking to the national park's great arches should also consider a hike to Corona Arch, whose opening measures 140 x 105 feet (43 x 32 meters). The moderately difficult hike is 3.0 miles (4.8 kilometers) round trip with an elevation gain of 440 feet (122 meters), similar to the Delicate Arch Trail, but with far fewer people. The hike includes a view of nearby Bowtie Arch as a bonus.

Here are six photos from the Corona Arch Trail, which is managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Moab Field Office.
