The Rampant Colt and the Moon

Here are two photos of the moon and the Rampant Colt statue atop the Colt Armory in Coltsville National Historic Park, Hartford, Connecticut.
The first photo is a composite of two photos, one where the colt statue is in focus and one where the moon is in focus. The final image is based on this original photo, which is one exposure.
This second photo is simply a differently cropped version of the composite image.
The photos were taken on August 20.
