Ron Lizzi (pronounced LIT-see) believes it’s pretentious to talk about himself using the third person, even for an author bio. So I won’t do it.

Although I’ve visited and hiked in hundreds of parks across America, camera in hand, I’m basically a regular guy. Now, you could read travel and nature books with writings and photographs by more impressive and accomplished outdoorsmen—mountaineers and such—but would you be able to relate to those people and their feats? If I’m going to convince you of the value of spending time in nature, then it’s important that you can envision yourself behind my camera.

When I’m not roaming the country, looking for beautiful scenery, I’m at home in my native Connecticut.
