Lake Alexander just after sunset - Council Grounds State Park, Wisconsin

 

This photo, which appears in the book Go Outside and Come Back Better, was quite a surprise. While driving across  Wisconsin, headed for parks I had hoped to include in the book, I noticed an unusual sky. Sensing an imminent beautiful sunset, I looked on a state map for a nearby park with a body of water, thinking that I might get a nice reflection. I arrived at Council Grounds State Park, previously unknown to me, just in time to capture this wonderful scene.
