Buttermilk Falls Nature Preserve, Connecticut

Here are five photos of Buttermilk Falls and Hancock Brook, above the main waterfall, in the Terryville section of Plymouth, Connecticut. The photos were taken after about 2.5 inches of rain.

 

The waterfall and brook are part of a preserve that is owned by The Nature Conservancy. It has a two-car parking area approximately here. The blue-blazed trail to the waterfall and along the brook is very short, but the footing can be tricky.
